FARMHANDS CONGREGATION, I apologise, once more for the delay but the Reverend has passed out yesterday, embarrassingly early, after a day of frolicking in the Canadian tundra and moose chariot-racing. My fellow Reverend and I are proud to say that we are still striving to make it a national sport over here but I'm afraid it might still be a close call with hockey. I fail to understand the appeal, why have sticks when you can have antlers? 
Flock, ever since Reverend ladytiferet and I have decided to quit our devotion to the Gods of Porn and become Happy Gay and Reverential Farmers, things have been tough and entirely not how we imagined. Instead of cute baby goats we have a horde of fugly-arse dogs that puke further than they can see.  Not all is lost however, as we have turned the place around into an idyllic porn gateaway, playing hosts to the brilliant, crème de la crème of The Eagle pornography lallyloo

My kink is blushing and embarrassment but not necessarily full on humiliation. Basically the kind of embarrassment when people have caught you thinking sexy thoughts or can tell that you want it. I would prefer Marcus being made to blush around Esca when people make remarks. Maybe they all say how hot Esca is or they assume he's bedding him or Marcus's friends notice him looking at Esca and maybe even Esca makes innuendos just to see Marcus redden so prettily.

IS VERY MYSTERIOUS

It's Rome's worst kept secret that rich women sometimes sneak into a gladiator's cells. I want a canon au where Esca's a successful gladiator, trying to fight his way out of slavery and Marcus, who's not really a fan of the games at the best of times, being utterly fascinated by this lithe, stubborn and proud strip of a Briton. He pines like only he can, guilty by what he once to do and by what he wants done to him. Until it gets too much and he steals away to Esca's cell.

And maybe one day he truly gets to turn the crowd in Esca's favour.

Basically something akin to lallyloo's incredible sizzle of a fic All The Bets Are Off but in reverse and in canon era.

Esca/Marcus,fantasy AU, witchfinder vs. warlock, bondage, angst
Marcus is a respected witchfinder who was brought to a remote village to investigate Esca, a man accused of being a warlock. He knows his path is the right one, but can't help his fascination with the fierce man.

Up to the author if Esca is actually practicing witchcraft or if he has powers he may at some point decide to use and turn tables on him.

Esca/Marcus Marcus taking advantage of being a slave ...
Marcus has been attracted to Esca from the moment he set eyes on him in the arena.
Being all honorable, he never abuses his master position and never imposes himself to his body-slave. He tries to be friendly, but that's it.

When the power dynamics suddenly shifts, North of the wall, he doesn't like the way he is treated, but one thing Esca said, proves liberating.
"You are my slave! Do for me what I did for you and you'll live!"
Well, Esca never did anything sexual for him! But now that he is the master, surely he could defend himself if he didn't want Marcus attention! Besides, this kind of comfort is expected of a slave!
Now, let's say, Esca, distinguished guest of the Seal People has his own tent. Privately there, in the evening, Marcus decides to give generously, never ask anything in return, and leaves for the collective slaves tent when he is done.
It's his turn to be mysterious and Esca's to be baffled.

The rest of the time, as in the film, he probably plans a way to retreive the Eagle, works too hard, pines a bit for Esca who may have betrayed him or not, as far as he is concerned.
But every evening, in private, he takes advantage of the situation, having sex with him, knowing that Esca could say no if he wanted to.
There has to be a contrast between his stance as a prisoner : proud and defiant, towards his captors, and the brief moments of abandon in private with Esca, when he relishes the "slave role" because he can at last get what he wants.

Post movie - Esca and Marcus became Happy Farmers, but Marcus is still convinced that Esca is not interested in men, so he represses like a MOFO.

They get invited to a feast though, and totally drunk Esca starts making out with some young, pretty soldier in a corridor or a garden. Cue Marcus who walks in on them, snaps, punches the other man and goes all "MINE" and "oh no, if you're into this, you're into this with me", and shocked Esca sure that Marcus was never interested, but oh so very happy now :)

After a hard night of partying Esca wakes up with a terrible hangover. Luckily his friend Marcus is there to take care of him, give him some painkillers and water, and generally be his awesome caring (if a bit sulking) self.

Once Esca begins to piece together the memories of the last night, he starts to remember an incredible BJ he got, but can't for the love of god come up with the face of the person who did it.

He tells Marcus all about it, but he claims not to know who it was...

Esca/Marcus, modern AU, Marcus is a rubbish seducer
After reading that infamous article about Channing's teen session, especially the statement that Chan didn't mind being ogled and was obviously used to it, I earn for a story where Marcus has everyone eating out of his hand and he never really had to step up his game to have somebody, because he always had it easy. Now he meets Esca, and for some reason he resists him, so Marcus has to try harder, only he's really shitty at it ;)
